4/24/11: Indians vs. Twins

Nothing too long and drawn out for yesterday or today’s games, it’s Easter after all and I have stuff to do.  All you really need to know about yesterday is that the Indians got their skulls bashed in by a sledgehammer otherwise known as the Twins.  That’s two losses in a row.  It’s not time to panic by any means and yesterday’s game shouldn’t be any type of indicator for where the Indians are headed.  Fausto Carmona simply had a really bad game.  He had no command of his pitches, walked batter, and then the Twins made him pay with timely hits.  Manny Acta indicated just as much after the game.  On the bright side, Grady Sizemore still looks great since he came back.  He smacked another home run deep to right field.  Yes, the game was already decided, but it’s still a great sign from Sizemore that he might be mostly all the way back.

Anyways, the Tribe will look to get back on track today and split what has now become a two game series as Carlos Carrasco takes the mound against former Indian, Carl Pavano.  Here are the lineups for today’s game.
